2 things about the Olympics site please.
1) I would value knowing the result of the research on the four bodies you removed from the site. Likely burial time, likely cause of death etc.
2) Were any votive offerings found?
many thanks!

Hi Matthew, please see the answer below from my colleague Kieron:
1) I would value knowing the result of the research on the four bodies you removed from the site. Likely burial time, likely cause of death etc.
Two crouched inhumations were Middle Bronze Age: one an an old adult male with poor dental hygiene, the second had poor preservation, was adult and probably male.
Two extended inhumations were early Romano-British (AD43-200): one in poor condition and was a middle to old adult male with osteoarthritis in the right foot, the other in moderate condition but age and sex could not be assessed due the lack of the skull and pelvis (however, the remains look to be of an adult individual).
In all four cases it was not possible to determine cause of death.
2) Were any votive offerings found?
No grave goods, and the sole votive offering from the whole OLY site was a Neolithic flint axe left as an offering in a stream on another part of the Olympic Park to the burials noted above
